Ava Williams-Beilschmidt

Ava quietly sat in the classroom reading as the rest of her fellow classmates talked. She didn't mind the noise. In fact, by this point she had figured out how to block it out.

The bell rang and the class quieted down enough to get instructions from the teacher to pass the previous night's homework to the front of the classroom. She turned to get the homework from the boy behind her, Mikhail.

He had blonde hair that he hung in a ponytail over his shoulder and his green-brown eyes nearly shown in the poorly-lit classroom. He wasn't short either. In fact, he was incredibly tall. Just like his father.

He was perfect.

Ava took the homework that the boy had handed her and spun around to hide her blush. Surely no one like Mikhail could possibly notice a dull thing like her? Like her mother, she was a bit invisible in a crowd.

She added her homework to the pile of papers and passed them to the person in front of her.

Sighing, she twisted a finger around her pale, white hair. A signature trait she inherited from her other father.

She laid her head in her hand as the teacher began today's lesson.
